So yesterday, around 2:30 p.m. my fathers shop caught fire. It spread extremely fast and engulfed everything inside the building along with two of his tow trucks. We were extremely lucky no one was injured and that it didn't get the house too.
I was just getting off work as a friend of mine called me asking if it was my house that was on fire, because the street was blocked off and there was so much smoke that it looked like the town was on fire and not just one building. My Dad told me he had went inside for a nap and the dogs started raising hell as if someone was outside. He walked outside to find the office/shop on fire, and a neighbor in the driveway calling the fire department. We still don't know what caused it, but we're pretty sure it was something in the attic.

I'm just thankful my Dad wasn't in the building and that everything turned out okay. Losing the building, contents and the trucks were small compared to what could have happened.

I want to say thanks to all the fire departments who helped save our house and got it under control. I'm grateful for everyone who has supported us and offered to help clear everything out after the insurance company comes out.
